August, another leap of the year.

Just when August is making its way through the month, I made a huge decision for the upcoming year... A choice which has been wandering in my mind for years, for me to decide on whether to take it or leave it.

The big interview was on the 21st July, an interview which is not so big after all.. because I took it lightly, without expecting much, by the grace of God, I was informed on 29th July that I am chosen and offered the job to work in Mount Elizabeth Novena's ICU next year. I officially accepted the job offer on 3rd August.

I had been struggling to choose whether to go to the Middle East or the neighbourhood country which has the similar culture and lifestyle as KL. My heart is heavy and I hope I won't regret my decision even though it may seemed that I can still go to the Middle East for the big bucks after I secured the Singapore nursing licence.

I have to seriously start processing the documents needed to apply for the Singapore nursing licence as it will take months to process and approve.

Aiming to start working in SG in April. Fingers crossed, faith held high. It won't be an easy journey and I hope it'll be a smooth one. Looking forward to the adventure which I have been wanting to experience :)

Over a cuppa Milo

Here am I wondering why must the same issues of life attacking over and over again?
Have I not prayed enough?
Am I lack of determination?
When will these issues stop hunting me?

I shall keep my desires flowing til the day I'm out of this country and stop all these nonsense.

By the way, I had my hand check up on my wrist last week on the 17th instead of 14th as planned. Nevermind with the changed of dates as it was still within the recovery period. The doctor was happy with my recovery as I have been seriously wearing my wrist brace in whatever I do, especially when I have to buckle up my bra, which I can't do it at all without wearing my wrist brace.
Next up will be another check up 2 weeks later and then physio! Can't wait to get back to my normal self!

Thought of the day

I'm often taught that it is important to set the right priorities in life to ensure a good future is well secured. Perhaps I grew up with such mindset.

Never give up on dreams and visions. In other words, never give up the desire to pursue a better life because the future is in my own hands. There is absolutely no need to crash my own future with my own hands.

I don't need a luxurious lifestyle.
All I need is just a simple lifestyle with loved ones, all healthy, happy and well.

:)

Giving my best

Somehow it's difficult to pray prayers which might not be God's will. Perhaps best thing to do is the b there. Just b there to b a comfort.

I'll always try my very very very best to be there to those who needs me. That's one of my life's philosophy. It is me.

Life's Routine

How I wish I could see the beloved after work everyday and to be comforted in his arms...
Especially after all the emergencies, providing tender loving care to anxious patients, being scolded by irrelevant doctors, seeing kids suffer in epilepsy, mothers crying in pain, fathers sorting out their finances, making beds, call colleagues to bug them to do OT since it is ALWAYS ALWAYS not enough staffs.
That's what I'm going through this whole week. No I don't have someone to hug me everyday after work. I can only go home, enjoy my mum's awesome cooking and be soaked into the presence of God.
Prays hard that hopes will come to pass without fearing the challenges ahead.

2nd month

I'll write soon
XD

-----------------------------edited 6.45pm---------------------------------

January had been a very fruitful month.
Been attending leaders meeting every Tuesdays and I'm loving it!
Been super busy with assignments which doesn't affect me much as I think I'm good on time management though I can be super tired at times. Hahas!

Some thoughts which I would like to share here is that no matter what you're going through or in whatever bad situations in life, KEEP PRAYING! And keep in mind that God is LOVE. He will NEVER LEAVE YOU or FORSAKE YOU.

My heart is broken for the people in Haiti. I heart longs to join the City Care team to be there to save those who are suffering there.
My heart breaks listening about Cassandra's fiance who's in hospital for more than a month and the doctors still can't figure out what kind of disease which Raymond is suffering with.

I feel bad that I can't help her out. But I know all I can do is just to give her emotional support and to pray. God is always there to listen and HIS TIMING is always right.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a happier note, CNY is around the corner. I'm excited but not as excited as when Christmas was near. I can happily really tell that I can't wait for Christmas already. The whole month of January came and went away real fast. Sooner or later, December will come by.

Went shopping with Mum last Sunday to my fave shopping mall. Managed to grab something from Cotton On and I prefer Cotton On than Forever 21 now.

Pretty CNY decos at the main entrance

Bangau and Cutie Harimau (Tiger). hahaha.

I'm learning to live everyday more productively, learning to prevent myself from slacking, learning to be a good influence to people around me. I know it's not gonna be easy because I am feeling sleepy already now. Still trying my best to adjust my biological clock to not take nap in the evening so that I'll be sleepy by 12am and get 7 hours of sleep to wake up at 7am for class at 8am and not to be sleepy in class. Been doing quite well on that but I know I can do better.

Follow me at Twitter if you want to get instant updates about me =)
That's all for now.
TOodles!

It shouldn't be this way

We thought it is supposed to be the 4 of us.

If you think that you do not belong here,

Kindly leave us alone and PLEASE don't make anyone of us unhappy anymore.

We had enough.

We won't be bothering about what you wanna say to the others

BUT

No mercy will be given to you if you hurt/harm/bully any of us.

Forgive me for being harsh.

I didn't mean to.

Just too disappointed with how you are treating us.

I'm really tired with all of the ridiculous jokes.

It's enough.

Wishing you happiness.

Goodbye.

A step forward

FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD

Why was I born??? It's a question often asked by those looking for a meaning in their lives. The answer is simple. We are born to know God - and enjoy His friendship/

It's far more than knowing about God. It's knowing God as a person, as a friend. We exist fod God (1 Corinthians 8:6) and in our friendship wtih Him we find our purpose of living (Acts 17:18)

So why isn't everyone enjoying God's friendship? It's a black and white issue. God is holy (living in light) and people are far from holy (living in darkness).

Still in the dark? Let's throw some light on to the situation.Darkness is a picture of the selfish, confused, misdirected lives we lead without God. Light is a pictue of holiness.

So how do we enjoy friendship with God? When darkness comes close to light, it is changed into light. And to get alongside a holy God we must become holy. Who can make us holy? Only Jesus. He died to rescue us from darkness so we could enjoy the friendship with God in the light.

Remember, God desires you to be His friend more than you desire Him to be you friend and He will never rejects you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isn't God's friendship wonderful?
Although believer will still draw themselves away from God or tend to forget that they have Jesus in their lives, but they will never forget that God is always there to pull them back in times of need.

I admit that I've struggled in friendship matters with friends, relationship matters with sisters and even in friendship with God before eventhough I told myself that I will never ever let God out of my life but I failed to secure the mindset because I thought I can settle the spiritual fight and continue to become faithful to Him without the help of God. I purposely stopped praying or talking to God, thinking that God will still knows whatever that I am going through in life though He knows every single detail of it. I was so so so WRONG!
I finally chose to give in to God and asked for forgiveness from Him. I read the bible again and I heard the still small voice so clearly
-God said to me, I'm so glad that you had made up your mind. Remember, I'm always here for you and will never leave you. Don't you ever fall again.
I heard that so clearly.

We may have let God down so often but He will always still wants to be with us.

Know that Jesus took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows. Pierced for our trangressions, crushed for our infirmities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds, we are healed. (Isaih 53:4-5)

Readers, I want you to see and realize the importance of this. That in life, we are here to please Him. If we don't, our lives will not be blessed. Remember this and keep this close to your heart. (Quoted from Ps Kevin Loo)

And I know, I shall not doubt Him again because He is with me, in my life. He is also with you, in your life, whether you like it or not. Therefore, do not take God for granted.

Great is the Almighty God. The God I know, righteous and holy, faithful and true, my tower of refuge, who heals hearts, light of the city, strengthens the weak and His heart beats within me.
He's the God of my life.

I found this article at http://www.revelife.com/ and I found this very meaningful article which also speaks deeply into my heart and decided to post it here to share with the all of you.
I have met the most beautiful man. In all truthfulness, there is nothing particularly attractive about his physical traits. But everything about his character is lovely.

As my mind meanders back to the time we met, I am reminded that I had known him all my life. It wasn’t until later that I realized how wonderful he truly was. Before this revelation, he was just another person I was acquainted with, another one of those people who I heard a lot about and saw around, but didn’t really take much interest in. Now that I’m deeply in love with this man, I can’t fathom not noticing him. How could I have overlooked someone so perfect?
I was chasing after love that would never satisfy me. I didn’t really know what love was. I was broken and hurt by the “love” I saw in the world. Then he came along… For a long time, after meeting this man, I was afraid to tell people about him. I was afraid of what they would think. Yeah, he’s the perfect man, but he’s not the norm. A lot of people didn’t understand why I loved him and I’m sure a lot of people still don’t. But now, none of that matters. I have complete confidence in him and his love for me. What the rest of the world thinks doesn’t matter. What is so wonderful about this man? Well, let me tell you…

First of all, he’s great with kids. That’s something every woman looks for in a man, correct? He loves children and they are drawn to his sweet, kindheartedness. I can’t help but smile at the image of him holding the darling children in his arms, speaking kind words to them, and teasing them lovingly.

He is always gracious. I’ve messed up so many times and done so many things that I’m sure grieved him. I’ve spoken many harsh words to him and been ungrateful. Yet, he still loves me. When I’m angry, he speaks kind words to me. He never loses his patience. Even when I left for a time, he took me back without hesitation. His love is unconditional. He never hesitates to extend grace to me. How can I deserve someone like him? The truth is… I can’t. But, he is mine anyways.

I know without a shadow of a doubt, that he loves me enough to give up his life for me. He truly is unlike any man who ever walked this earth. He’s the kind of guy that any mother would like for their daughter. His parents absolutely adore him and so do mine. In fact, he’s loved by many. He’s incredible, how could they not?

He always knows what to say. When I’m sad, he is my comfort. When I’m happy, he is happy along with me! When I have done something foolish, he gently corrects me. I hate correction, but I love him so much and he loves me so, I can’t help but take his words to heart. He is never at a loss for words.

Among other things, he is strong, compassionate, honorable, loving, faithful, and all around perfect. I wish I could put into words all the wonderful things that make up his character, but that would be impossible. It would take the rest of my life to write down all the things I love about him. My heart and mind are practically bursting, just thinking about him. I am utterly, undoubtedly, 100% in love.
P.S. His name… JESUS CHRIST

I pray that you'll be touched by this wonderful season of Christmas!
Have a Blessed Christmas, my precious friends!

My fave song.. hehehe.. not so appealing video eh? lol.
Enjoy the song!

ENDURANCE

I endure the quiet times spent with God
I endure the times when I'm in the house of God
I endure worshipping Him
I endure praising His name
I endure reading His words
I endure talking to Him
I endure all the good things that He had done for me
I endure all the good things that He is going to do for me
I endure having Him in my life

Yes, I endure His love...

ADORATION

I really want to worship you my Lord,
You have won my heart and I am yours,
Forever and ever,
I will love You.
You are the only one who died for me,
Gave your life to set me free,
So I lift my voice to You,
In adoration.

I woke up at 3.30am this morning and I had this song dwelling in me. I had a real good time worshipping and praying at wee hours in the morning as early as 4am. It had never felt this good. Perhaps it did but everytime, each time when I have the chance to spend time with the Lord early in the morning,
I felt like I've been renewed.
Glory be unto our Lord.
