The month of celebration has ended!

February, the month with various celebration such as Valentine's day and Chinese New Year has ended and here comes March.

The way the time ticking so fast and how days past is making me feels like my age is catching up very quickly too.  But what can I do with it? I can only say that I'll live life as full as I can and appreciate the days that I have.

Posting up what happened throughout February ;)

White Valentine

It's 14th March, a White Valentine day which normally is not taken seriously by many people, even myself.
Just randomly thought about blogging about this year's actual Valentine's Day today.

MrLove and I actually do not really take Valentine's Day seriously too even though it is a day to celebrate love. People tend to mention that everyday can be Valentine's Day as long as they are in love. Another reason why Valentine's Day is not too significant to us is because MrLove is a Valentine's Day baby! So we focus on celebrating his birthday instead of celebrating Valentine's Day or making it as 2 in 1 celebration on 13th, the birthday/Vday's eve. Part of the reason of celebrating on the eve is because we dislike being in a crowded restaurant.

We started off our day on the 13th Feb by sleeping in the morning as both of us finished off our night shift work in the morning. He came our to my place at around 2pm to picked me up and headed to Empire Damansara for breakfast/coffee time.

Tao was next! Tao has became our annual Vday restaurant for the past 2 years due to my love for sashimi. I would really recommend Tao for the unlimited flow of fresh and yummy sashimi-s!

I shall let the pictures to do the rest of the talking. Enjoy scrolling down! <3 br="" nbsp="">

10 Things You Didn't Know Limes Could Do!

1. They help with hangovers. According to DeAnna Batdorff (an Ayurvedic practitioner in Cali), a helpful healing concoction to consume the morning after a heavy night of drinking consists of 2 teaspoons of lime juice and 2 pinches of sugar in an 8-oz glass of water. She says the lime cleanses the liver while the sugar helps pick up glucose levels after their alcoholic drop.

2. They clean microwaves. According to Ellen Sandbeck (the author of Organic Housekeeping), lime juice (about 3 tablespoons) mixed with water and heated in the microwave until boiling point is extremely effective at cleaning. It gets splatters off of the inside of the microwave as well as any store-bought household cleaning product!

3. They brighten skin. Adding lime juice to a body scrub (particularly if you are home-making it!) adds vitamin C in, which contains acids and salt that rid skin of dead cells in a rejuvenating way. One mixture idea for blemish-control: combine a tablespoon of lime juice with 2 tablespoons of prune juice, slather it on your face and leave it for 15 minutes.

4. They help fight diseases. Adding lime (or, presumably, lemon) juice to a cup of green tea aids the release and digestion of more of the tea's catechins, or antioxidants that have been shown to reduce the risks of cancer, heart disease, and stroke.

5. They help get rid of a sore throat. Mixing lime juice with a little bit of honey (best together in tea, in my experience) is an effective way to soothe throat pains.

6. They help lessen the itchiness of mosquito bites. Rubbing lime on mosquito bites should aid in itch-relief. This trick should also work for stings from coral.

7. They soothe headaches. Placing lime on your head should lessen the pain of an average headache. They have also been shown to reduce fever when applied this way.

8. They help to get rid of dandruff. Rubbing lime juice onto your scalp for 15-20 minutes and then rinsing it out should moisturize the skin and get rid of extra flakes, leaving you dandruff free!

9. They lighten your hair. As with lemon juice, streaking some lime juice in your hair and spending some time in the sun should leave those streaked sections noticeably lighter than the rest of your hair. Repeat more times for enhanced streak.

10. They get rid of kitchen odors. Grind a lime into a sink garbage disposal for an overall fresher scent.

My Apple Crumble Recipe

Ingredients
4/5 Apples
pinches of Sugar
pinches of Cinnamon powder
1 bowl of Flour
1/2 Butter

Slice the apples into thin slices.

Arrange them nicely onto the tray.

Prepare the butter+flour crumble.
Estimate the amount needed.
As long as the crumble is enough to cover the apples.
Mix the butter and flour with hand and meddle them.

Result of the crumble.

Place the butter+flour crumbs on top of the apples and cover them up.

Press on them to tighten the surface so that the butter+flour crumbs will stick to the apples.

Tada!
You can sprinkle some sugar onto the surface or some cinnamon powder on the surface or in between the apples and the crumble for some cinnamon taste.

Heat it for about 20-30 minutes depending on ur oven's temperature.
Preferably 200°C

Saw the cracks on the surface?
It shows that it's cooked.
You can also heat it up till the surface looks a lil brownish for some colouration.
As long as it is not too burnt will do.

Best served with ice cream!
Crunchy!
Yum!

Food!!!

Thanks to PMS which causes me to be so hungry and I don't want to eat maggi/biscuits!

But I seriously do not know what else I could eat.
Longing for a phone call from bestie to invite me out for dinner.
If that ever come true...

><

Was told by class tutor that they want to shift us OUT to give space (hostel) to the new coming juniors in January!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the hell is wrong with the management for making us shift over and over again?
I'm really sick with this college already.
They came out with a whole lot of ridiculous and nonsense and we have to live with it.
I bet they are trying to make us live with what they want us to do again now.
Just because we are all sponsored students and they are throwing us here and there and treat our batch like a bouncing ball.
What a nursing college!
All they want is business and fame! Not even the quality in nursing.
How dumb!

I'll only be happy if we are shifting back to Tropika Paradise in USJ 17.
Not to inner part of ShahAlam!

It took me almost half a day to log in to msn and it still doesn't work til now!!!
Supper pissed!
