How To Install Custom ROM in Galaxy S3

Follow the steps below to install the custom ROM on your Galaxy S3:



1.Download the ROM from the official page, the link to which will be given in the post that mentions about the ROM.

2.Copy the ROM zip file to your SD card preferably to the root folder. This means that you can copy the zip file to the SD card itself and not within any folder.

3.Turn off your phone. Remove the battery to confirm the same.

4.Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery. To do this, press the Volume Up button + Center Button + Power button. You can release the Power button once you see the Samsung logo.

5.In recovery mode, select “Wipe” and Wiipe data, cache and dalvik cache. This will prevent any force close issues that you might face after installing the ROM.

6.Go back and select “Install zip from SD card”>”Choose zip from SD card” and select the ROM zip file that you had copied to your SD card in Step 2.

7.After flashing the ROM, go back and select “Reboot system now”.

8.If you face any force close issues after rebooting, Boot into recovery and go to “Advanced”>”Fix permissions”.

9.If you are stuck on the boot screen, wipe cache from recovery mode.
